Food Review: Cafe on Main

Food Review: Cafe on Main

If you’re craving something bold, hearty, and full of flavor, the Santa Fe Steak Wrap at Cafe on Main is a must-try. This standout lunch favorite features seasoned beef tenderloin paired with sautéed onions and grilled bell peppers, all wrapped up with a perfectly spiced (but not too spicy) chipotle mayo that brings just the right amount of kick. Served with a side of salsa and sour cream, it’s the kind of meal that’s satisfying without being heavy. The perfect spot for a laid-back lunch that still feels special. The Santa Fe Steak Wrap is just one example of the variety you’ll find on Cafe on Main’s Lunch Menu. From juicy burgers and savory paninis to wraps and fresh salads, their lunch options offer something for every craving, while breakfast lovers can enjoy classic comfort foods like fluffy pancakes and golden waffles from their Breakfast Menu. Since opening in 2019, Café on Main has focused on fresh, homemade food made with quality ingredients, served in a warm, welcoming space that instantly feels like home. One of the best parts about ordering a handheld, burger, or wrap at Cafe on Main is the flexibility to make it your own with their deluxe upgrade options. All handhelds, burgers, and wraps are served a la carte, but you can easily turn your meal into something extra satisfying by upgrading to a Deluxe, which includes a cup of their soup du jour and classic French fries. But if you're looking to switch it up? Cafe on Main makes it easy to customize. You can upgrade your Deluxe even further by swapping in curly fries, sweet potato fries (I upgraded to their sweet potato fries!), or fresh fruit to match your mood. For an extra indulgent option, add cheese curds alongside your soup for a meal that feels both hearty and comforting. It’s another thoughtful touch that shows how Cafe on Main puts care into every detail, making each visit feel personalized, filling, and well worth the drive.Located in Edgerton, WI, Cafe on Main is an easy 15–20 minute drive from Janesville, heading toward the west side of Lake Koshkonong and well worth the trip. Guests are greeted with genuine Midwestern hospitality, friendly service, and a cozy hometown atmosphere where it’s easy to relax and linger. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or a slow meal with friends, Cafe on Main delivers comfort, connection, and consistently great food.
