The Rock County Historical Society (RCHS) is inviting the community to experience the artistry and tradition of quilting at its beloved Airing of the Quilts event, happening Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the scenic RCHS campus at 450 N. Jackson Street.Whether you're a long-time quilting enthusiast or just love admiring beautiful handiwork, this two-day showcase is not to be missed. The Children’s Museum of Rock County (CMRC) has received a major boost in funding thanks to a generous $1.5 million pledge from Woodman’s Markets. This contribution positions Woodman’s as one of the museum’s top donors and brings CMRC closer to realizing its vision for a state-of-the-art children’s learning space in our town.A Transformative ContributionLast month, CMRC announced it was finalizing designs for its future location at 100 W. Milwaukee Street.
