With the Easter holiday coming up and my new found maturity of not believing in the Easter Bunny, I’ve found myself wondering how the Bunny got brought into Easter to begin with?Was there an ancient bunny going around leaving baskets or goodies on people’s doorsteps or hiding their eggs for people to find. My head has been going in circles.so I looked it up just to find that it has absolutely nothing to do with a legendary bunny, and in fact there are countries that don’t even associate bunnies with Easter.In my research I found that some identify the holiday with other types of animals like foxes and cuckoo birds, in Sweden they have Easter witches, and in France they just do bells! now my mind is at peace and I can finally sleep!

In another life, I’m on a hockey team coached by a guy who has hockey trauma and I’m on my way to the junior Olympics… I this life, I’m supporting the Janesville Jets! But the dream lives on!! Support the Janesville Jets in their last two home games of the season Tongiht, Friday March 22, and tomorrow, March 23, both games starting at 7:05pm!
